How BOM Matching Works

We treat a BOM as a supply problem, not a price list. The goal is continuity of production with controllable cost and risk.

What should I include in a BOM upload?

At minimum: manufacturer part number (MPN), manufacturer, quantity, and target date. Package, preferred brand and allowable alternates help us quote faster and reduce back-and-forth.

How does your BOM matching process work?

1) Receive BOM → 2) Normalize MPNs → 3) Check stock and franchise/independent channels → 4) Propose alternates where allocation or EOL risk exists → 5) Return a line-by-line quote with stock, lead time and notes.

Can you reduce BOM cost without changing design intent?

Yes, when pin-compatible or form-fit-function alternatives are acceptable. We flag risk level (drop-in / require validation / not recommended) so engineering can decide quickly.

How fast do you respond to a BOM RFQ?

Simple BOMs often receive an initial reply within 24 hours (business days). Large or allocation-heavy lines may need staged quotes as channels confirm.
